Before 2020, I didn’t consider myself a creative individual.

I lacked confidence in my artistic abilities and saw myself as rather unfortunately uninspiring. That perception changed dramatically when a dear friend shared her SkillShare login with me and encouraged me to "learn something fun."

I've always been drawn to stained glass, whether that was in homes or at thrift stores, so I decided to give it a try. I gathered the necessary tools and began my first project on my kitchen floor. Reflecting on this journey, it's almost amusing to think that I once believed, "I'm not creative; I can't draw or paint, and everything I make looks terrible."

Now, over three years later, I've realized how wrong I was.

Embracing my creative process has unlocked a passion and talent for stained glass and creative media that I never knew existed. Today, I continue to craft unique stained glass pieces from my home in Boise, ID, and I'm ever so grateful to now have a dedicated garage studio to work in.

Thank you for visiting Ephemeral Glass and supporting me. I hope my journey inspires you to explore your own creative potential.
